Italian labelling specialist Makro Labelling now has a UK subsidiary based in Burton on Trent, with a complete after sales and service support team led by Richard Portman as Managing Director.
The Italian company was formed over a year ago with expertise in the wine, spirit, soft drinks, beer, mineral water, food and pharma sectors.
Makro equipment aims to introduce innovations that save bottlers time and money. The Universal Infeed Scroll and the Magic Star have already received worldwide patents.
The Universal Infeed Scroll can handle a number of container diameters without the need for a changeover; while the Magic Star can accommodate up to three bottle sizes without the need for a change. This avoids the cost of change parts and the need for space for storing them in the bottling hall.
Mr Portman says: “Clients have peace of mind that the Makro Labeller with its modular labelling stations can cater for any future trend without major expense.”
