It's just an illusion

13 November 2003

Elizabeth Shaw has extended its chocolate confectionery range through the newly introduced Illusion brand, a boxed chocolate launched in time for Christmas 2003.

Combining elements of Elizabeth Shaw's classic Mint Crisp with the added luxury of a truffle centre, Illusion is being positioned as the ultimate in indulgent stocking fillers.

"Illusion is an exciting new way of presenting one of the things that Elizabeth Shaw does best," says sales and marketing director Bill Williams, "and that is combining chocolate with mint in a way which consumers will find irresistible."

Elizabeth Shaw makes its own chocolate to its own recipes and ensures that highest quality cocoa is used so the high standards consumers have come to expect from the brand are never compromised.

The packaging for Illusion represents something of a departure for Elizabeth Shaw, who has customarily relied on vacuum-formed inserts as a way of presenting its products.

This pack was designed and part produced by Field Packaging Bradford using silver metpol board components with a printed plastic sleeve.

Illusion is available in 165g packs with an RRP of £3.29 at branches of Waitrose and through independent stores.
