The 14-head CCW-RS-214-S/30-WP is handling individually quick frozen and chilled pre-cooked chicken pieces, packed into bags at the company's Wauthier Braine plant. Target weights range from 100g-10kg at speeds of 5-80 weighments/min.
Before the weigher's installation, product for the larger pack sizes above 2.5kg was weighed and packed manually. Alongside speeding up the process and greatly reducing giveaway, the weigher has enabled introduction of the smaller pack sizes. Changeovers between different weights can also be done at the touch of a button.
The installation was undertaken by Ishida's Belgian agent BRN, which had already supplied Ishida equipment to another Europa Cuisson factory.
