One of Katsouris’ key requirements was a system able to successfully identify stainless steel fragments in foil trays and dishes. Mettler Toledo says the Safeline T10 XP machines plant offer high efficiency, low maintenance and simple operation, alongside “maximum sensitivity and accuracy”, and IP65 construction. They can reportedly detect contaminants including metal, glass, stone and plastic down to 1mm in size.
