Impress completes acquistion of Amcor's Australasian Food and Aerosol Can businesses

Impress has bought seven production facilities which supply steel food cans, easy open ends and peelable ends to food markets including ready meals, fruit and vegetables, as well as steel and aluminium aerosol cans for cosmetics, air fresheners and insecticides. The operations being acquired have an annual turnover of around €150m and employ some 600.

Following the acquisition Impress will have pro forma annual sales of €1.8bn, employing approximately 8,600 staff in 59 countries worldwide.
