Anglia Crown, which produces meals ranging from chicken curry and rice to beef stroganoff with vegetables and potatoes in plastic trays, is a long-standing Lock customer. Its specification of two new MET 30+ detectors brings to six the total number of units installed across its Colchester and Manchester sites.
The machines and conveyors are ruggedly built from stainless steel and sealed to IP66 to allow full washdown. The customer has also taken out Premier service contracts, which include ongoing training provision and machine maintenance and discounts on spare parts, callout charges and breakdown rates.
