High yield facestock

Innovia Films' new Rayoface VPA top-coated high yield BOPP label facestock - designed for use in primary label and booklet label applications - reportedly offers superb whiteness and opacity alongside "measurable benefits" throughout the entire label conversion process.

Innovia says its cavitated structure gives a yield advantage of up to 35% over solid films because of the reduced density, making it a good choice for high volume, cost-sensitive applications.

In addition, Rayoface VPA 65 [65 micron] retains all the advantages of the company's "unique bubble produced" BOPP for labels. The film's balanced orientation gives high direction stiffness and tensile strength for high speed conversion, superior die-cutting and reliable matrix stripping. Innovia says Rayoface VPA combines these characteristics with its print-receptive topcoat.
