High impact print for Diet Coke re-launch

14 April 2007

The cans feature bright photographic imagery made possible via the use of “Illustration Impact”, a process Rexam says offers dpi density “significantly greater than with conventional can printing and are as near to magazine quality as you can get with this type of process”.

All Rexam's bevcan plants can now offer the process, already being used by Coca-Cola for its “Relentless” and “Burn” designs, and by “many other” Rexam customers Europe-wide.

Over 70m packs of “diet Coke” will feature the new design, in conjunction with a “Win Your Ultimate £10,000 Break” promotion. The cans have been produced at Rexam's Milton Keynes and Wakefield plants.
