Heinz catches up with the big kids

Hot on the trail of green and purple ketchup for kids, Heinz Canada has now turned its attention to adult consumers.

Ketchup Kick'rs – a new range of bold flavours including Zesty Garlic, Hot & Spicy as well as Smokey Mesquite – is aimed to feed off the latest culinary trends.

The extra kick of flavour is targeted at busy consumers who are increasingly using sauces and marinades to transform boring dishes into exciting, yet convenient meals, whether used as a condiment or an ingredient.

The bold flavours are conveyed on-shelf through the striking new packaging, including a standard 38.400 pour spout closure from Seaquist Closures.

The cap, carefully co-ordinated to match the strong colours on the sleeve, features Seaquist's Dual Axis hinge designed for speed and ease of capping. The lightly ribbed base provides added grip during application and is complemented by a gloss-finish lid.

The pour spout closure's raised, off-centre orifice promotes clean dispensing so product should not drip during use.

In addition, the spout is available with the Simpli-Squeeze valve system and all closure varieties are line capable.
