The 's-shaped' leaflet, applied automatically to the packs' reverse, emphasises that the pellets are safe to use around hedgehogs, insects and birds if used in accordance with the "Slug Pellet Code". The labels are also being used to encourage customers to back the "Support Local Hedgehogs" campaign by ordering nest boxes and food for them.
Peter Mills, from through-the-line agency Mulberry, which has been working alongside pbi Home & Garden, adds: "The Fix-a-Form contains all the information gardeners need to know about the use of slug pellets and wildlife and includes the order form, the terms and conditions of the offer and the usual usage and precautions information."
