Global food processing, packaging and weighing equipment manufacturer, Heat and Control has acquired Spray Dynamics, the Missouri, US, headquartered supplier of equipment for the controlled application of liquid and dry ingredients.

Tony Caridis, president of Heat and Control says: “We have successfully partnered on projects over the years and found their equipment to be an excellent match with our own FastBack on-machine seasoning systems and individual in-kitchen flavoring applicators.

“Heat and Control’s goal is to provide the best single-source support to our customers. The Spray Dynamics line will enhance the versatility of our seasoning applicators, while giving our customers a greater choice of coating systems to meet individual product requirements.”

Based in St. Clair, MO, Spray Dynamics builds applicators for oils, seasonings, vitamins, tack and release agents, chocolate, yogurt and candy coatings, anti-oxidants, polishing wax, and anti-clumping agents. The company has built equipment since 1952, and served the snack food industry since 1970.

Heat and Control, founded in 1950, is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of machinery systems and controls for food processing, seasoning, conveying, inspection, and packaging.

“With Spray Dynamics, we now offer a complete line of equipment and technical services covering every aspect of coating,” adds Caridis.
