Harris Interactive launches PackTest Express to create faster and more cost-effective package testing

Harris Interactive has launched PackTest Express – the latest in its expanding range of digital research products, allowing clients to better test the impact and design of new packaging.


Developed to meet the needs of today’s new product development (NPD) professionals, PackTest Express enables Harris clients to fine-tune features, messaging, claims and price to create a combination that will maximise sales on launch. Clients will be able to understand the overall strengths and weaknesses of their packaging concepts much faster and more cost-effectively than traditional methods. 


PackTest Express is built on years of Harris Interactive’s best practice research expertise and powered by Toluna’s research automation technology. Harris Interactive’s research and category experts work alongside clients to provide a fully supported service from survey and audience design to reporting.


Commenting on the launch, Debbie Senior, VP Automated Products, said, “PackTest Express is the latest in a suite of products we’re developing to fulfil a market need to optimise budget investment in high quality, fast-working products across the development cycle. Our automated approach enables us to scope out projects, launch them to specific target audiences, and deliver real time results, all within the same day.”  


PackTest Express works alongside the newly launched concept testing service, Concept Express, which allows clients to test new products and services prior to launch. Both products use familiar and consistent metrics, and offer real time dashboard reporting for ease of interpretation.
