Harlands sets the standard

Harlands Labels says it "has cemented its position as the supplier of choice" to premium beverage sector customers requiring the highest quality labels following its work on the Chivas Regal 18 Gold Signature relaunch.

The new label formed part of a complete overhaul of the brand's packaging and was used on both bottle and outer carton. Chivas Brothers marketing director Martin Riley says: "With the new packaging...we are reinforcing the hand-crafted, luxurious brand values through a stylish design."

The label was printed on 40-micron bright silver foil eight-colour rotary letterpress plus one colour rotary screen with pattern varnish and foil blocking on the first of two passes. It was then passed through a flat screen press with one colour patterned varnish, detailed embossing and die cutting.
