Designed to label up to 400 round containers and products/min, the 2000 incorporates a linear roller conveyor, which transports products to a SPA 925 (Sessions print & apply) labelling unit. Once applied, the label is securely wrapped around the item while continually moving through the system.
Switching from one product size to another is said to be fast, involving minimum changeparts.
A Biotrace spokeperson said: “Due to increased production requirements, we required a new labeller to replace the original RC30, and the HSRC 2000 was the ideal solution. We wanted a machine that was faster and would increase efficiency and productivity, so we looked no further than Sessions, as we have used them for over eight years and they are one of the best in the industry.”
