To save space and maximise production efficiency the two systems were supplied, one right-handed and one left-handed. Each incorporates a bespoke stainless steel conveyor, along with a base-mounted 250mm wide AL250-S programmable stepper-driven label head fitted with a Markem thermal transfer printer. Due to the characteristics of the composite labels the label path was altered and additional idle rollers used to ensure labels did not delaminate before application.
Each pack is guided in via adjustable product guides and fed under a motorised head gripper to ensure product is positively held while the label is applied.
