Glass bottle plant

Agenda Glas is to invest €50 mn in a new glass container production plant to be built in Gardelegen, Germany. Construction will start in January 2009 and the facility is due to open in 2010, producing 95,000 tonnes/year of mostly white glass (300 mn bottles/year). Exports are expected to account for 20 per cent of the production. The new plant will have 150 employees.
