Genus has re-launched Cetraben, an emollient dermatological cream, in the Airless HDVS dispenser (Packaging Today – September 2007), citing its superior product evacuation as key to the switch from a previous “small and unreliable” soap bottle with pump.
Airless HDVS uses airless and piston-up technology to push product up from the bottom of the container in a system that it says delivers superior performance to standard pumps and follower-plate-down alternatives.
Other features include tamper-evidence and a special suckback system that pulls a small amount of cream back into the pump, leaving a clean spout after each dispense.
