Fresh cook-in-bag contender

CeDo, has entered the cook-in-bag market with a new polymer based design for home cooking. The Quick Steam bag is being sold ‘at a very competitive price’ under CeDo’s Poly-Lina brand label.

The new bag features a PET laminate film on the outside – and a cast PP for the food contact inside. A system of channelled vents helps ventilate the bag during the cooking process. No additional water is needed and, says CeDo, “the environmental energy saving in the radical reduction of cooking time gives the Quick Steam bag another consumer benefit” .
