K 2010 will feature the France Pavilion, organised by the French Agency for international business development UBIFrance, and showcase the products and technologies of 70 French companies.
The Pavilion will host the Matériautech, a tool for creating ideas that invites users on a ‘sensory voyage’ through the world of plastics. It is designed to help select the right material, offering full control over the user’s impressions of the product, including colours, effects, transparency, feel, smell and sound.
With annual sales of plastics-and-rubber products amounting to €30 billion, France ranks among the top five plastics exporting countries worldwide. In Europe, France is in second place behind Germany. Its 3,750 companies export €6.7 billion worth of goods annually.
Europe’s biggest trade show for the plastics and rubber industry runs from 27 October to 3 November in Düsseldorf, Germany.
