19 May 2006

Members of a UK National Lottery syndicate at Scunthorpe-based packaging machinery manufacturer T Freemantle won £137,532 after matching five numbers plus the “bonus ball” on the main Lotto draw on May 13.

Freemantle produces a range of end-of-line packaging machinery and is best-known for its cartoners and sleevers.

The syndicate members range in age from 19-63 and include Freemantle managing director Tony Freemantle. He says: “What great news this is for all members of our lottery syndicate. It has given our staff a real boots and the workshop and offices have a real buzz about them.”
