Ford backs Dalepack with new contracts

15 June 2005

A Northampton contract packer, warehousing and distribution specialist says the Ford Motor Company's decision to re-award it four major contracts will ensure its continued growth and success.

Millions of car parts, from tiny springs to van roofs, will be packed from Dalepak's main warehouse in Caswell Road, Brackmills.

The contracts, involving the packing of around 200,000 individual parts per week, were re-awarded after a vigorous Ford review process. However Dalepak says its "excellent track record" over five previous years of operating the contracts, with 13.8m car parts packed without a single error reported, proved the key.
