Flextrus centralises Sweden flexible operations

5 February 2013

"The target is to have all business which is produced in Landskrona moved to Lund by June," the company says. "All employees are informed and negotiations with the unions are started."

The Flextrus Landskrona site currently employs around 20 people.
New employment opportunities will be created at the Lund site.

Funded as Åkerlund & Rausing in 1929, Flextrus has established itself as a leading supplier of flexible packaging solutions in Northern Europe, primarily in foods and healthcare.

In 2010 the company expanded with the acquisition of two other Scandinavia-focused flexible packaging companies also based in Sweden, Flexmed and Flexopac.
