Stora Enso Speciality Papers will launch a high-end flexible packaging paper specifically designed for premium coffee wrapper packaging at the Packaging Summit Europe event in June (June 26-27 in Amsterdam - Stand 30).
The high gloss, high brightness LumiLabel G paper was developed in response to requests from coffee brand owners for an “environmentally-friendly” wrapper paper that would “support complex print graphics and withstand the rigours of high-speed coffee packaging processes”. Offered in basis weights of 80 and 90 gsm, the one-side coated paper offers “excellent print-side smoothness and ink holdout” for hi-fi process printing.
LumiLabel G also has high opacity for good laminated brightness and is “proven” to run well on high-speed packaging lines. Offering the “sustainable packaging advantage of paper over plastic”, it is manufactured at Stora Enso's Imatra mill in Finland.
