Targeted strongly at the food industry, the Proseal AP60 has been designed to run in conjunction with auxiliary equipment such as tray de-nesters, fillers, multihead weighers and labellers. Its modular construction allows customers to specify conveyor length, width and tray pitch to accommodate their tray de-nesting and filling requirements for fully integrated control of the entire operation.
"Free flow" gas flush can be specified for extended shelf life products, while other options include pre-printed film, film coding and printing and automatic clip-on lid overcapping.
The "simple, accurate" film feed system "eliminates confusing film loading paths and reduces downtime during reel changes", while precise temperature and seal pressure reportedly ensure perfect seal quality.
