Five new clear grades of polystyrene sheet material have been launched by VTS Doeflex to offer an alternative to PVC.
Each new grade is aimed at a particular section of the packaging, promotional and point-of-sale markets.
Standard Clear is aimed at replacing PVC in point-of-sale design, cosmetics and medical packaging applications. Standard Clear Plus+ offers the same benefits but with claimed improved impact performance. The Ultra Clear Packaging grade is best suited for thin gauge applications making it ideal for cosmetic and medical packaging.
For point-of-sale solutions Doeflex developed Ultra Clear Display and Frosted Clear – a translucent material with frosted appearance.
