Farewell Sue

3 March 2009

Co-founder and managing director of Sunala Sue Brocklehurst is leaving the company to pursue a variety of projects outside the packaging industry.

“After 10 years, it is time for me to seek new adventures,” she explains. “It has been an exciting time and I am very proud of what Sunala has achieved, particularly the introduction of innovative equipment and new technologies that have had a significant impact in markets such as food and pharmaceutical.

“With its strong product base and dedicated workforce, I know the company will continue to grow and develop in the future and I wish my colleagues continued success.”

She founded Sunala with Alan Turner in 1999. Among its many achievements, the company was responsible for introducing thermal inkjet coding technology into the UK with the launch of the Wolke m600 in 2000.
