Visitors to this month's FachPack 2006 in Nuremberg will be able to talk to exhibitors in a more conducive environment for doing business than at “larger international shows”, and can also visit “three exhibitions in one”.
So says NürnbergeMesse, organiser of FachPack (packaging machinery, materials and supplies and ancillaries), PrintPack (package and label printing, production, print processing and packaging design) and Logintern 2006 (storage and order picking systems, transport and ancillary storage equipment, transport and conveying systems, RFID, logistics software, information and control systems), taking place concurrently from 26-28 September at Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Over 1,200 exhibitors are expected to participate, with 30,000 visitors anticipated both from Germany and overseas.
According to NürnbergeMesse, 96% of the exhibitors at the last event, in 2004, (which also saw the three shows staged simultaneously) reached their most important target groups, 93% made news business connections and 89% “|expected significant follow-up business”.
FachPack 2006 highlights include the 29th German Packaging Awards, a special “Robotics for Packaging and Assortments” feature, a symposium on optimal ways to incorporate logistics and consumer information into packaging, and workshops/forums on topics including the latest laser coding, cutting and peroration technologies and how to improve the performance and cost-effectiveness of corrugated packs.
