A semi-automatic twin-station rotary machine designed for versatility and fast changeovers, the PR30 can seal and perimeter trim film lids onto a variety of materials, including CPET, polypropylene, PVC, styrene, board and smooth-walled foil at up to 30 packs/min. An in-board trimming option is also available.
The compact design maximises factory space and makes the unit easily portable. Said to be unique is the self-aligning table damping system, which automatically slows down the top and bottom halves of the tool as they are locked into place prior to sealing. This is said to ensure the accuracy of alignment of the tools throughout the life of the machine to create a consistently effective seal.
For products requiring extended shelf life, "free flow" gas flush can be specified.
