A conference on Improving resource efficiency in packaging recycling will be held in Oxford on May 15. Speakers from DEFRA, the EA, WRAP, LARAC, Marks and Spencer, Biffa Waste Services, Valpak and Novelis will consider methods to improve resource efficiency in packaging recycling. Topics will include development of methods and materials within the retail sector, improvements within collection and sorting systems to increase the quality and quantity of the recyclate, and a consideration of the targets from DEFRA and developments within the PRN industry.
Chaired by Jane Bickerstaffe of INCPEN, the conference will also provide opportunities for networking and discussion. The event is supported by IOP: The Packaging Society.
