A global price increase of 9 cents per pound on all grades of Elvax resins, effective March 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, has been announced by DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers.
The company blames “unprecedented high raw material and energy costs”, as well as continuous strong demand, for the increase which is in addition to the 9 cents per pound price rise implemented on Januart 1, 2008.
The price rise for Europe is €0.13/kg.
