Diode España has become an official distributor of Sato Iberia, with access to Sato’s complete range of barcode and labelling solutions.
The Spain based distributor, a reseller of automatic identification and mobile solutions, will be responsible for selling and distributing Sato’s products including industrial, portable and desktop printers as well as its latest TH2 mobile printer.
Japan-based Sato and Diode envisage that the new partnership will pave the way for mutual growth in Spain, enabling them to quickly supply advanced solutions to customers in the logistics, healthcare and retail industries.
Jose Miguel Dominguez Pulido, director of the Diode system, identification and communication division, commented: “Becoming an official Sato distributor will enable Diode to consolidate its presence and brand image on the market and become a reference in automatic identification, as well as offer a wider range of solutions in barcode and label printing, data collection and mobile technology.”
Diode will benefit from direct contact with the product manufacturer and its engineering skills, maintenance and customer service, while Sato will gain from Diode’s already strong position in the automatic identification market, which is expected to open up new opportunities for the company.
