DieterBakic ‘precise’ Kronos dropper prevents cosmetics wastage

5 August 2013

The new Kronos dropper from cosmetics packaging specialist DieterBakicEnterprises is said to combine high-class visual aesthetics with “remarkably smooth handling” for the consumer.

According to the Germany-based company, the Kronos dropper enjoys all the benefits of a reliable pump system with no metal parts – the pipette is made of plastic, which prevents breakage, compared to long glass pipettes.

Operating differently to typical rubber cap systems, Kronos provides a very precise dosage (0.4ml per intake).

“The pipette doesn’t leak, as it discharges the intake only when pressed at the top,” the company says. In addition, a small wiper has been added inside the bottle to minimise leakage, cleaning the product off the pipette when the dropper is taken out of the bottle.

Available in the sizes 10ml, 15ml, 20ml and 30ml, the Kronos dropper from DieterBakicEnterprises includes a NBR piston and a special stem resistant to additives (not compatible with polyolefin pistons), which, the company says, are being used more frequently in oily formulas.

“It makes the dropper perfectly compatible with all the latest serums and oils that are out now on the market,” the company adds.

DieterBakicEnterprises has also released a new high transparency, solid glass bottom glass flacon in its premium Cosima range.

With its silky-feel surface, the new Cosima bottle is said to convey “pure luxury” and to fit “perfectly” into the company’s Cosima product line.
