Yorkshire Packaging Systems, a shrink wrapping equipment specialist in the UK, has supplied Darlington based Acorn Dairies as it gears up to take on new contracts.
The SS120 heavy duty stainless steel side feed shrink is designed to cope with the demanding environment of a dairy, says YPS. It is manufactured completely in stainless steel with low voltage waterproof electrics. A ‘unique’ high-speed low maintenance sealing jaw is said to provide absolute reliability and consistency of the seal at speed in a wet environment.
The SS120 can wrap any trayless pack configuration, in bottles or cartons, at a speed of up to 14 packs/min, with very few change parts required.
