The Cyclero containers are reportedly suitable for products ranging from isotonic thirst-quenchers to snacks and cereals. For Amaroy they are produced on an Optima Group form /fill /seal machine using ultrasealing technology from Herrmann Ultraschalltechnik. Key requirements included the ability to protect the pads both against squashing or folding and from oxygen exposure.
“A logical optimisation of conventional stand-up pouches without the sealed seams on the sides that determine the packaging's haptic properties and appearance”, the OPP/PET/alu/PP laminate containers are reportedly easy to open and re-close, while their round shape “makes them both comfortable to hold and stable on shelf”.
