CRC packs are easier to open - for adults

14 April 2007

Alcoa Flexible Packaging has launched three specifications of its Safety-Pak Plus line from its blister lidding range. Safety-Pak Plus PP is a peel-push version of the that uses the traditional CR opening process, but provides a full panel peel without tearing. Alcoa says it will be easier for parents to open. Safety-Pak Plus PL lidding gives a child-resistant peelable opening developed for fragile pharmaceuticals, and Safety-Pak Plus LT features a lock tight” lid that requires a tool, such as scissors to open.

All three specifications use the same 200 gauge white polyester exterior film that reportedly provides better quality printing than paper and is compatible for solvent and water-based inks.
