Concetti Group’s new Forza 2600 form-fill-seal technology uses a tubular reel to bring savings in reel change downtime and storage costs in the production of gusseted bags.
According to the Italy-based packaging machinery specialist, the new Forza FFS machine was conceived specifically for the petrochemical industry, and can achieve a filling rate of 2600 x 25kg bags/hour with a single bagging spout.
The new machine will be exhibited at Interpack in Düsseldorf, 8-14 May 2014 (Hall 14, Stand 14D31-33).
The company says the new Forza 2600 “combines speed and Concetti’s legendary reliability without compromise”, and describes it as: “The embodiment of Concetti’s long experience in the FFS market.”
The Forza 2600 FFS is designed to combine the advantages of top performance rates, reduced air consumption and operating noise, and easier maintenance and use by the customer.
A wide range of accessories completes the system, including:
- Bag corners sealing (‘K’ sealing) to improve the bags’ shape, enhance pallet security and aesthetics, as well as to help complete emptying of the bag;
- Electric reel lifting device to load the reel without the use of additional lifting devices;
- Gussets forming system to use flat (ungusseted) reel of tubular film and yet get square gusseted bags: “A flat reel contains up to three times as many bags as a gusseted film, so savings in reel change downtime and storage costs are evident.”
