Mobile accessories company STK Accessories has relaunched its whole range of devices with colour-coded packaging.
The UK company, which designs and manufactures a range of items to complement mobile phones and other consumer electronics devices, says the new packaging differentiates the distinct ranges within the company’s growing product portfolio, while continuing to provide the required protection for the products.
The redesign was prompted by the increasing trend for mobile handset owners to use their devices for a more varied range functions.
“We understand that consumers make purchases based on their needs and the products available at that time,” says Greg Shea, STK Accessories head of accessories for the UK and Ireland.
“As such the success of an accessory is not only dependent on the product but also on the packaging.
“Our latest packaging solutions aim to be intuitive and eye-catching for the consumer while being functional and beneficial for the distributor and retailer.”
STK has built a portfolio of more than 3000 products, however the core it categorises the accessories most demanded by mobile users into four main areas: protection, charging, entertainment and wireless communication.
The new colour-coding consists of:
Red – Power and charging solutions
Green – Protection solutions
Blue – Bluetooth
Purple – Music and audio solutions
Orange – Data solutions
Silver – iPad and iPhone accessories
Yellow – Holders
STK says the designs remain consistent in style and size to previous offerings, and the new look aims to “appeal to a wider audience”, by creating a more impactful display and simplifying the packaging to make the range of products more accessible and attractive.
