Stölzle Flaconnage has supplied Neal’s Yard Remedies (NYR) with a cobalt blue, 30ml cylindrical glass bottle, to upgrade the packaging for the company’s Serums, Elixirs and Premium Treatment products.
The first to launch in the STO Anna bottle has been Beauty Sleep Concentrate.
“The new bottle needed to be tall, elegant and simple in shape with clean lines to convey the style used across the rest of the brand, while bringing the appearance up to date from its apothecary style roots,” says an NYR Packaging Technologist. “Cobalt blue glass was felt to be representative and iconic to the brand. A screw neck was desired so the pack can be easily manufactured and assembled at the NYR Dorset ecological factory, and also to enable the availability of a variety of standard size closure/dispensing options for future alternative product uses such as fragrance.
“A pump in satin anodised aluminium sheathing from Valois/Aptar was chosen for a premium appearance and availability in a number of dispensing options. The bottle was tooled to work aesthetically with the pump and sympathetically with the existing branding. A flat shoulder was the preference so the fit of the screw-on pump appears consistently and aesthetically pleasing.”
