Craemer has developed a TC totally closed plastics pallet “engineered to provide new dimensions in durability and meet the highest hygiene demands of the food processing and pharmaceutical industries”.
The new pallet is said to offer a high level of strength and impact damage resistance due primarily to its material content and structural design. A high quality HDPE virgin grade light blue material, with a ‘honeycomb’ shaped internal construction, provides for the optimum rigidity and strength with a long service life, according to Craemer.
Combined with a patented welding process to seal the lower deck and rim areas, this is said to ensure total integrity against the ingress of contaminants such as liquid and bacteria into the pallet structure. The flat, smooth outer surfaces can be easily cleaned manually or by a pallet wash machine.
Offering high racking and dynamic load capacities (Static 7,500 kg; Dynamic 1,500 kg; High Bay Rack 1,250 kg), the standard 1,200 x 1,000mm TC plastics pallet is available with three or five runners that are chamfered on all approach edges for easy access and removal off hand and electric pallet truck forks. It also features a 7 mm upper deck rim, with the option to customise to include a 22 mm rim.
