Asda is using Zeller Plastik UK's recently launched standard oval valve dispensing closure for personal care products on its own label “Benefits” shower ranges.
Developed by Bodycare Toiletries, the 250ml HDPE tottle featuring a pull-up hook and a 500ml HDPE bottle are both capped with the valve closure utilising the standard valve sub-assembly developed at Zeller's Norwich plant. The closure's centre opening lid seals the pack in transit but, after use in the shower, snaps back into a recess.
The pack formats offer a choice of usage options; the hooked pack can hang in the shower with the non-drip closure open and ready for use, while the bottle can stand on shower floor or shelf with the non-drip valve preventing spillages and ready to dispense the exact amount of gel required.
