Chesapeake has strengthened its global supply network in Southern Europe by forming a trading alliance with Cartonajes Leca (Leca), a?Spanish carton supplier in the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics sectors.
Leca, part of the Lantero Group, has two operations in Madrid and a plant in Barcelona. It will represent both parties in Spain to meet customer requirements for a local source of supply.
Mike Cheetham, Chesapeake’s Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Director said the alliance will allow both parties to offer a greater range and jointly develop new products.
The trading alliance is a commercial arrangement involving no investment on either side, states Chesapeake.
