After “hundreds of test runs” it has perfected a “BrailleMarker” machine, in close co-operation with suppliers, which sprays small dots continuously onto strips of labels. The technology behind the system is “confidential”, but the result is reportedly “very clear Braille labels that exceed the official requirements of a minimum 0.2mm raised point”. “Blind and visually impaired people can literally feel their way forward before taking the correct medicine,” says the company.
