Cartonplex invests in Braille inspection

23 March 2010

Clondalkin’s specialist pharmaceutical packaging business in Spain, Cartonplex has invested in Braille inspection equipment to ensure compliance with international standards.

DotScan technology measures the height and position of Braille dots on cartons in less than two seconds per position, making the production ‘significantly more efficient and practically eliminating error risks’, says Cartonplex.

“Inspection equipment which makes the production process more efficient and raises our reputation for complete reliability even further will be greatly appreciated by our customers,” said Cartonplex general manager Joan Gamez.

Cartonplex also has expanded its computer-to-plate capabilities with a Fuji V9600 printer and high-performance software from Esko Graphics, to offer the latest anti-counterfeiting measures.
