With a dynamic new communication, Bvlgari Fragrance wanted to create gifts, developed around the four references of its Omnia collection, for their most important clients. Carestia Arcade Beauty has designed these perfumed notebooks with a faithful and lasting olfactive rendition.
Crystalline, amethyst, coral, pink sapphire… the four fragrances of the Omnia line, inspired by the eponymous precious stones, are distilled from the pages of these notebooks full of poetry. Available in selected outlets, they allow clients to discover fragrances with a gift to keep. Carestia used the identity universe of the collection to develop this very personal product.
Each of the notebooks has a printed cover on the front and is laminated on the back to preserve the fragrance. Then print is executed in a four-colour process and adapted for each reference, that is to say 16 colour matches. The interior is composed of a 300g cover page card and 40 virgin blotter sheets of 120g. Shaping is realised by automatic glue binding.
The Art of Perfumery
For this project, the Carestia development team recommended, supported by trials, to perfume only the front page to minimise the amount of fragrance required. The fragrance impregnates the other pages by capillarity and permits a strong level of restitution. Lamination to the back cover contributes to the protection of the olfactory notes.
