Slippery butter lids that inevitably land grease side down on the kitchen floor could be a thing of the past thanks to a partnership between development company 42 Technology and Huhtamaki.
The solution is a low cost one-piece thermoformed tub. Manufacture involves a frame which attaches the lid to the tub. The lid is hinged over and engaged with a tamper-evident tab which also allows the product to be resealed.
Costs are kept down as 42 can work with clients in their own laboratories or with associates around the UK.
