Bulmer's backs Logopack labeller

16 January 2006

A new, fully enclosed Logopak beer keg and cask labeller has recently been installed at Bulmer's Cider in Hereford.

The Logopak 906 TK incorporates several "added" features, including a pressurised and heated stainless steel enclosure with automatic raising and lowering integrated barcode scanning.

It is essentially a newer version of the nineteen Logopak 906 TK machines originally bought by Scottish Courage, Bulmer's new owners, in 1997. These are still running on high speed kegging lines in breweries UK-wide.

Installed on a new keg line, the latest labeller can label up to 850 11-gallon kegs/hr. Label data is held in an on-board database for fast, easy operator selection for different product sizes and changeovers.
