Breitner filling line speeds Techtron bottling capacity

Techtron Manufacturing says its installation of a new Breitner 2085 filling line is “in direct response to increased business and customer requirements for a faster, more flexible solution to product packaging”.

One of the UK’s most modern specialty chemical blending facilities, Techtron says the decision to install the machine from the German manufacturer at its Deeside plant, near Chester, UK, will enable the company to produce a much broader range of product lines at a much faster rate.

The Breitner 2085 line can pack containers ranging in size from 200ml to 1,000ml at high speeds of 40-50 bottles per minute – significantly increasing the capacity of the plant and its five flexible manufacturing lines.

Techtron Manufacturing MD Paul Owen says: “We identified the need to be able to pack a wider range of products, from thin aqueous based products through to thicker shampoos and creams, and very often for larger production runs in a short timescale.

“This investment, coupled to our significant investments last year in sachet manufacturing capability, gives us the ability to offer hugely flexible solutions to our customers.”

All Techtron Manufacturing own chemical products and solutions are designed, formulated and manufactured in the UK.
