During this years¹ Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf, bailiffs served an injunction on 3S packaging, the company set up recently by Rainer Kaiser and Friedrich Kern, former directors of Bradman Lake GmbH.
The injunction prohibits the company from selling and producing end load cartoning machines designed and developed by Bradman Lake. 3S was alleged to be openly advertising plagiarized copies of the equipment at the show.
A spokesman for Bradman Lake said “it is an unwelcome aspect of our industry that certain individuals believe that they can simply walk away with years of product development and start up a company producing exactly the same equipment with impunity. That is not the case and we are taking all available legal steps available to protect our intellectual property and to hold the perpetrators responsible.”
