BPI reveals "the smart way to wrap"

5 September 2007

Users of the 7 micron gauge Wrapsmartultra hand film should, the company claims, not only be able to achieve the same levels of wrapping, load stability and product protection as with a “traditional” 17 micron film, but also to use less film by weight for a given load. Wrapsmartultra is “100% recyclable”, processable via standard industrial recycling facilities and, being pre-stretched, is said to be quicker and easier to apply than conventional stretchfilms – with reduced risk of operator strain.

Tony Olé, operations director, bpi.films, says: “Products such as this allow customers to maintain the same standard of secure transit packaging while enabling them to contribute to their own environmental policies and practices.”
