The Bosch Packaging Technology Division is to acquire Paal Verpackungsmaschinen, based in Remshalden, Germany, for an undisclosed price. Paal is a specialist manufacturer of lines for secondary and multiple unit packaging, with sales of more than €26 mn last year.
Waiblingen based Bosch Packaging Technology produces modules and systems for the pharmaceutical, confectionery and cosmetics sectors, as well as for food and non-food industries. In 2007, it generated sales of some €650 mn.
